The administrator of Comet has axed more than 700 jobs in the latest round of redundancies.
Deloitte said 603 jobs have been lost from the electricals chain’s home-delivery network, which has 12 hubs in Britain.
A further 57 employees were made redundant from Comet’s head office at Rickmansworth Hertfordshire, plus 56 from a call centre in Clevedon, near Bristol, and 17 from an office in Hull.
The sites were the subject of 330 job losses announced by the administrator last week.
